PLAYFUL PIXELS

For the Grand Opening of the Media and Immersive Experience (MIX) Center, at ASU, on October 30th, 2022, We designed a large media and immersive installation in the enhanced immersion studio of the center to expose community members to the potential of the centers infrastructures, and the type of skills and production pieces that can be learned at the center.

The community could explore a myriad of responsive and playful media systems. These systems ask visitors to engage while allowing us to play with one another as we “reflect” our experience across the physical space.

We also documented user experience and interaction for future research on large-scale user experience and interaction with media environments.
